Clubs and Community Programs
The library hosts many clubs for you to attend and join. Please regularly check the events calendar for up-to-date dates and times as sometimes clubs are rescheduled. All events are in the Community Room and no registration is required, unless specified.
Scheduled for the third Tuesday of every month, 1:00pm–2:00pm, engage in an enchanting literary experience. (Keep an eye on the library Events webpage for changes.)
Immerse yourself in a captivating book while savoring a specially selected tea that perfectly complements the theme of the book we will be discussing. Check the Events calendar for the month for which book we will be discussing.
We warmly invite you to bring your own favorite afternoon tea treats to share with fellow book lovers, creating a delightful exchange of flavors and friendship.

This club usually meets on the first Wednesday of the month, 6:30pm–7:45pm. Whether you're a seasoned scribe or just starting to explore the realms of pen and parchment, this welcoming space is where creativity thrives. Share your stories, poems or unfinished epics in a supportive community of fellow wordsmiths, where diverse perspectives enrich every discussion.

Meets on the first Friday of the month (see Events calendar for specific details) from 12:00pm–1:00pm
Choose a cookbook that goes with the monthly theme and select a recipe that piques your interest, then prepare the dish to share with our wonderful community. Be prepared for an engaging conversation about your culinary creation and the opportunity to make new acquaintances. Everyone is invited to participate, and no prior registration is necessary. Please bring your own supplies and a copy of your recipe.
This club meets twice a month on a Tuesday at 6:30pm–7:30pm and a Thursday at 1:00pm–2:00pm. Please see Events calendar for exact dates. There is a daytime and evening session each month that will cover the same topic. Feel free to attend one or both.
All are welcome to CPL’s Genealogy Club! Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned genealogist, join Randy Ray and Linda Keller in learning more about strategies and techniques for tracing your roots. Each month a new topic will be presented, followed by time for questions and research assistance.

The CPL Needle Arts Club will gather in the Community Room inside the library every Wednesday from 1-3pm!
Whether you are knitting, crocheting, cross stitching, needlepointing or rug hooking, bring your project and enjoy some crafting camaraderie in the library with other experienced needle artists.
This club welcomes participants aged 18 and above with prior experience in needle arts. Please be aware that our club operates on a self-guided basis, where members pursue their projects independently. While no formal instruction is provided during meetings, our community of experienced members offers a supportive environment where crafters can exchange ideas, seek advice, and share their expertise.
Bring your own supplies, no registration is required.

Meets every Tuesday, 4:30pm–5:30pm.
Calling all creative thinkers and fiber arts enthusiasts! Join us in the library's community room to explore needle-based fiber arts such as hand-stitching, embroidery, knitting, crocheting and upcycled fashion. Dive into our monthly featured project or use the time to experiment with your own creative ideas! Creative materials and tools will be available. For ages 9–17.
No registration or experience required.
Meets one Sunday per month, 1:00pm–3:30pm in the community room. (Summer months the club may meet outside in a park – please see Events calendar for library meetings.)
Whether you're a juggling pro or a complete novice, our monthly meetings are a great way to connect with the local juggling community and develop your skills. Bring your enthusiasm and a smile, and we'll provide the juggling fun! Run by the Cedarburg Juggling Club. Recommended for ages 12+.

Every Wednesday from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM in the Community Room starting in March.
Have you always wanted to learn how to play cribbage or need a refresher? In this program, the first Wednesday of the month will be devoted to a library staff member teaching the game, the other Wednesdays will be open play, with a staff member available to help. Bring your own board, or use one of ours.
