Cedarburg Community Conversations
Through partnership between the City of Cedarburg's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and the Cedarburg Public Library, the Cedarburg Community Conversations series aims to serve as a place to share local stories as a way of learning about each other, the impact of race, and building relationships and trust.
Each gathering focuses on a theme: Indigenous People's Day (October), Martin Luther King Jr. Day (January), Women's History Month (March), and Asian American/Pacific Islander Heritage Month (May). A guest panel of community members guided by a facilitator will share their stories and experiences, followed by refreshments and small group conversations in which attendees can share their stories, connect with one another, and build community through fostering empathy and support.
These Conversations are open to the public and are intended as a space of learning, active listening, and mutual respect. No registration required at this time.
