Jaida Maki

Hello! My name is Jaida, and I am one of the Youth Services Assistants. I lived in Madison, WI for most of my life and have moved around to a couple of different cities. Growing up, libraries provided an accessible experience to my limitless imagination. That opportunity created a passion for books, literature, and the arts. Since then, my passion has only continued to grow, eventually leading me here to the Cedarburg Library which I am thrilled to be a part of. 

I can't wait to continue to connect with the community and be a part of such an impactful environment. Some of my favorite book genres include classic literature, historical fiction, and adventure. The majority of my free time is usually spent reading a book or trying to increase my knowledge on topics that have piqued my interest. Other activities I enjoy involve playing sports, being out in nature, engaging in varying art projects, or spending time with the people I am close with.
