The Friends have a permanent used book store at the library, which is open whenever the library building is open. Buy the Book store is located in the room off of the main entrance vestibule and also next to the Circulation Desk.
The used book store has raised over $54,000 in 5 years from the sale of books, CDs, DVDs and puzzles.
Proceeds from sales provide funding beyond the scope of the library’s operating budget. The children’s summer reading programs, the purchase of new best seller novels, Great Decisions and Tracking the World’s Hot Spots programming, Maker and Tinker labs, a large format printer, audio and camera equipment, and so much more have all received funding from Buy the Book, a project of Cedarburg Friends of the Library.
Buy the Book is the only used book store in Ozaukee County! Browse for books, magazines, puzzles and DVDs. Once you've made your selections, please pay for them at the Circulation Desk.
If you'd like to donate books to Buy the Book, then please drop off in the large black bin on the first floor of the library, or arrange for drop off if your donation is large.
