Welcome to your library! I am Linda Eastwood, Library Director. I have been in libraries for 35 years and a Director for 20 years. I came to CPL in 2013 when the new library was still a hole in the ground. It was one of the highlights of my career to finish the building project, move the old library materials over to the new building, and then open it up to all the amazing residents of this community and witness their enjoyment.
I grew up in Cedarburg and can remember when the library was in the upstairs of the fire department, we have come a long way. Please get to know our wonderful, creative, and caring staff at CPL. If you need help with anything, we are the ones to ask.
My favorite books to read are biographies, travel, and I like to peruse what is on the NY Times nonfiction list. If you don’t see what you want to read at CPL, let us know and we will get it for you either through interlibrary loan or purchase.
Whether you use the library for the breadth of materials, attend any of our public events, or simply find a comfy chair and read, you are welcome here. Wonder with us!
