My background is in history, with a focus on Vietnam. I previously taught undergraduate history courses at Texas Tech University and conducted research for the U.S. Army and the Department of Defense. I earned my Master of Information and Library Science in December 2025.
I was born and raised in Oshkosh Wisconsin, but my educational and professional careers have taken me to Illinois, New Orleans, Texas, Washington, DC, and Hawai’i. I permanently moved to Cedarburg in 2019. The entire time I was in my MLIS program, I saw myself working at the Cedarburg Public Library, even if the possibility seemed remote. It is a dream come true to have the opportunity to work at CPL and to serve my local community.
